Kathi Coyle

Kathi knows that efficient movement comes from being in communication with your own body. Her Masters in Movement Analysis allows her to see movement of the body as a musician would listen to music. Kathi shares this knowledge with each of her clients in a way that is unique to each one in order to help find connection deeply with their bodies. Her classes are part self-awareness, anatomy, coordination, strength and so much more. Kathi has studied throughout New York, California, Ontario, British Columbia and Switzerland and is influenced by Pilates, Yoga, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Chakra Healing, Therapeutic Touch, Thai Yoga Massage, Whirling, Integrated Movement Therapies, Shamanic Studies and music.

Somatic Awareness

Do you feel disconnected to your body? Are injuries making you feel old? Or, preventing you from enjoying the activities you love?

These one on one sessions with Kathi will allow for deeper exploration and connection with one’s inner and physical self. We will work on perceived weaknesses within the body to open up access to innate strength, mobility and wisdom.

Traditional exercises, Pilates Technique, Yogic Philosophy, Energy work, Thai Massage and a variety of equipment may be incorporated into any individually tailored session.

Each session and each client are different, our work together is client centred and directed by how you feel when you walk in the door.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Massage is an ancient practice that evolved from Yoga centuries ago. Combining reflexology, acupressure, stretching and compression to release and relax the body and mind. Sometimes referred to as ‘Lazy Man’s Yoga’ after an hour and a half session, your body is open, your mind and emotions are calm and soothed.
